Cambrian College’s Human Resources department, is a dynamic unit, and has an immediate opening for an entry-level Human Resources Generalist. This position will expose the successful candidate to all aspects of Human Resources, including hiring, onboarding, professional development and training, performance evaluation, and personal file management for over five hundred full time and part-time employees. This full-time position will begin on Nov 27th, 2023.

 

Applicants must have a relevant post-secondary education, ideally with advanced standing in Human Resources. Successful completion of the CHRP designation would be a definite asset. Computer literacy with particular proficiency in Excel applications for human resources information systems, excellent oral, written, and presentation skills are a definite asset.

 

The successful applicant will be a self-starter who can function effectively in a busy office, balancing multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. The ability to maintain confidentiality is a prerequisite.
